Discover Neurotherapy and How It Can Improve Your Life
BOOK YOUR FREE CONSULTATIONWhat Is Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback (also known and Neurotherapy or brain training) is a noninvasive training process that produces symptom improvement without the side effects common to drug-based treatments. Neurofeedback is the process of the brain learning to make physiological changes to work better and become more coherently organized. Our brains often become dysregulated, and Neurofeedback addresses the problems of brain dysregulation. Neurofeedback helps address brain dysregulation, which is often the reason for anxiety, depression, attention deficits problems, behaviors problems, sleep disorders, headaches (including migraines), and some learning disorders. Further, Neurofeedback is helpful in lessening symptoms associated with organic brain conditions such as autism spectrum and seizure disorders. Neurofeedback helps the brain to function better in these situations. Neurofeedback has also shown usefulness for people who have suffered concussions and traumatic brain injuries.

Get Painless and Drug-free Results From Neurotherapy
Neurotherapy, also called ‘EEG Biofeedback’ and ‘Neurofeedback’, is a treatment that helps the patient learn how to modify his or her brainwave activity to improve attention, reduce impulsive actions, and control hyperactive behaviors. Further this treatment is effective in modifying brainwaves to significantly reduce symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, autism, trauma (PTSD) and others.
Neurofeedback uses sensors to painlessly determine the existing brain waves and create a map of what needs to change. Neurofeedback therapy can then create permanent changes to the connections in the brain reducing or removing unwanted behaviors.

Medication for conditions such as ADHD only provide symptom relief while the medication is being taken. Once medication is stopped, those symptoms return. Neurofeedback therapy is a helpful and effective treatment for ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, depression, autism symptom reduction and more, all accomplished without any drugs.
Many patients will start neurofeedback therapy while taking their existing prescribed medications which can be reduced once positive changes have been seen from the neurotherapy.

Neurofeedback training will work at different rates for each individual. How many neurofeedback sessions you will require depends on the severity of the brain activity that is being changed. We usually like our patients to conduct the training 4-5 times each week, for 30-40 minutes each time. For this reason we provide patients training so they have the ability to conduct Neurotherapy treatment in the comfort of their own home using only FDA approved Neurofeedback equipment. This alleviates missing time away from school or work for appointments. Further, it allows us to offer treatment to patients who may live far away from the office and who are still able to receive treatment and results.
