Areas We Serve
Therapist In Layton, UT
Layton is located in Davis County, Utah, and has an estimated population of 4,500 people. It was incorporated in 1920 and has grown steadily since then. The city was an offshoot of Kaysville after it experienced so much growth. A Latter-day Saint settler named Christopher Layton wanted to leave Kaysville’s authority. Layton residents challenged Kaysville’s tax authority in the United States Supreme Court in 1894, but the separatist movement was finally successful in 1902. The unincorporated area officially became a town in 1920.
The outdoor scenery and recreation are thriving in the Ogden Valley. There are many hikes, biking trails, green spaces, reservoirs, and camping areas near Layton. One of the most popular hikes near Layton is Adams Canyon. This hike is a moderate hike that leads to a 40-foot waterfall. This hike is stunning during all different seasons. During the winter, the rocks and cliff faces are covered in snow and ice that feel regal. During the spring and summer, the water is pouring and creates a nice cooling mist over the top of the hike.
The Edward A. Kenley Centennial Amphitheater is in the heart of Layton Park and holds 1800 people. The amphitheater hosts many different events during the warmer months in Utah. Concerts, free movie nights, nights with the stars, performers, and more fill the amphitheater with life from May to September. The Davis Arts Council in partnership with the amphitheater works to keep 85% of the events free to members of the community. The space serves almost 40,000 people each year.
